2010 Fall Retreat Registration

The Fall Retreat will be from 11/12 – 11/14 at Camp Allen in Navasota, Texas. The theme is "Spirit-Driven Life" with guest speaker Jonathan Park. Early bird registration starts Sunday, 8/8 and ends Sunday 9/5. Please mark your calendars!

Four Week Classes Are Beginning

Class 201 (Discovering Spiritual Maturity), Class 301 (Discovering My Ministry), and Class 401 (Discovering My Mission) will all be offered in September on Mondays for 4 weeks (9/13, 9/20, 9/27, 10/4). Classes are from 7PM – 9:30PM and costs $10 each. If interested, please indicate it on your communication card along with your email address as well as whether you will need babysitting. The last day to sign up is Sunday, Sept 5.

Registration for Fall 13-Wk Classes

Registration starts Sunday 8/15 after worship for Living Life, Transforming Life, and Experiencing God classes in the fall. Classes are on Monday evenings starting 9/13. Dinner is provided by class participants and childcare is available. • Living Life (no pre-reqs): helps students to obtain the assurance of salvation / trains students to read the Bible on their own and understand it / answers some difficult questions • Transforming Life (Living Life, Class 101 and 201 pre-req): an interactive small group Bible study and practical application of spiritual disciplines • Experience God (Living Life, Transforming Life, Class 101-301 pre-reqs): a study in knowing and doing the will of God.

JCS New Life Bible Academy (NBA)

Please visit the registration table in front of the playroom and sign up your children for this program designed to disciple your children. NBA will start on Wednesday, 9/8 from 7PM – 8:30PM.

The married men will be responsible for Sunday Morning Intercessory Prayer in September. Married men will gather in the Conference Room (Rm 101) at 9:45AM for refreshments and prayer.

Tutoring Program

Our Church will be offering tutoring for the elementary students in our community each Saturday morning from 10AM-12PM starting 9/18 and we need volunteers. If you are interested, please contact Tony Lee.

Baby Dedication

Tom & Hannah Park are dedicating their daughter, Emma to the Lord. May the Lord bless and use her for His glory!
